Finding a low profile reel in LH low gear ratio

First off as someone new to the 8XD and 10XD game I do want to throw these on a 5.4 or lower gear ratio right? Do any of u throw it on a 6.something? Is there a huge difference throwing them on a 6.4 to a 5.4? And it looks like as a lefty the only decent reel I have to choose is the ABU Winch, or am I missing some? Thanks

    There are some other options, but I have a Revo Winch LH and I actually like the reel a lot.  It casts great.  I was very pleasantly surprised.
