it came with a skimmer transducer.  can you use that same mount to mount it to the trolling motor.  it looks like you can.  maybe just bend the mount a little.  or do i have to get a totally different transducer?

Transducer will work, need a TM mount kit.

thanks burley and jagdbdg.  its on the way.  can you guys tell me if the micro ram mount thats on sale on the cabelas site is the one i need.

I am not that familiar with RAM products, but that should work.

Save your money, Go to the hardware store and buy a 5-6" Stainless steel hose clamp for about $4. Take the transom mount and assemble it in your hand. Take the clamp and open it up, feed the clamp through the metal mount and back out. Close the clamp and slip it over the trolling motor and tighten. I have the same clamp now for ten years. If you need a pic let me know and I''ll post mine.
