Has anyone fished Echo Lake in Conway, NH? fish and game says it has small mouth and was just wondering if it was worth the 2.5 hour drive. 

If your driving that far go to squam, winni or newfound.  Those are all off of rt 93.  Rt 16 stinks

I am on Squam and while it can be challenging to navigate, the fish are abundant.

Echo is fine, but Squam is a bass guys heaven.

Winnipeg is awesome, but if you don't know the lake, you can spend a lot of time behind the windshield.........and it is busy as hell!

your drive 2.5 hours for smallies! theres many other better spots much closer!  newfound is my top NH smallie spot! 

i never had much luck for smallies there! lots of perch! 

I've fished all those lakes and they are great! But echo lake has shore access all around it where as those big lakes you need a boat. I'd be fishing from shore I should have specified but thanks for all the feedback! Appreciate it tight lines.
