New little pond hopper

Featured Replies

This my new little pond hopper didnt even have to pay a dime for it.

Everything that is in there came off of an older boat that didnt have a trailer and was completely trashed.

I have named her tha pant dropper!

You should be able to get that boat in just about anyplace, though I don't know that I'd be able to fish back to back with another person without burying a treble hook in their skull.  ::doh:

So...what's up with the name?

I have one of those, or at least very similar. Mine is the Pelican Bass Raider, it's 8', for 2 it's a joke, but by myself it is nice. I can take it anywhere, you will surprised at how stable they are, I think they are better than any small jon-boat I have ever been in. They only downside to them is lack of room for gear, and they sit high in the water so any wind and man................your gone. I even took it out on bigger lakes and got around OK with it, but I bought a "real" bass boat for that this year, so the small one will be used only on ponds/canals, and tight spots from now on.

I think you need a smaller anchor. ;D  Looks like it would flip your boat if you store it off center.

Yeah i love this little thing and it fishes two perfectly if your back to back because me and my cousin both cast with our right hands. the anchor was just for the photo. This little boat is suprisingly stable.

BTW. Usually i fish in it by myself because i either fish with my dad or my cousin and they both have bass boats.
