I need to buy a pair of boat fenders and would like some input. I mainly fish alone and last year I bought Hull Hugr Contour boat fender @ BPS. They were working great. One day I wasn't paying attention as I was coming into the pier to get off of the water. I came in just a little too fast. The fenders made contact and they just ripped off. Pretty stupid. So, have you used a fender that wraps like the Hull Hugr that is more durable?

    On my 21ft, i used oversized fenders. I havent heard of anything that is fool proof
