  1. I am a college student who is looking to get into building some custom lures. Nothing too fancy, like the idea of catching on my own. I've read a lot of information but I live in an apartment with 5 other guys. A lathe is out of question so is a airbrush. My first thought was to order blanks to paint. I have read of some sites with plastic blanks but would prefer wood. Painting- Can I use paint from Hobby store with a paint brush (say, in a shoe box to keep the mess down)? Or do I need to get spraypaint? Thanks for any help you can provide!
  2. ;D good luck with the fish.
  3. You want to listen to some Jack johnson? Play gamecube? Dude it'll be fun. Wish me luck. See: Youtube "Bro Rape" - NSFW
  4. I have used minnows to fish in saltwater and used a minnow trap over night with dog food to catch them. Can I do the same in freshwater?

  18. great to hear. I'm a student at Clemson (in SC). Costal Carolina is a great school, but don't overlook College of Charleston (also in SC) Both schools have good programs for fisheries and marine.
  19. amazing
  20. i hear that man. i shot on the junior stage using a benelli. I might be misstated, I believe the semi automatic models that we use as "club guns" I believe they are sturdy and well made, but i recommended otherwise unless you're willing to put in the time to take care of it, which in my experience, majority fail to. I, myself own a beretta silver pigeon III. I have never had a problem with it, although it has missed a few targets i swear i was dead on. ;D
  21. alaskan crab fishing on the discovery channel's "Deadliest Catch"
  22. Watching show on crabfishing. Anyone done this? Looks very interesting.
  23. I worked at a quail and dove with sporting clays. I maintanced 70+ guns in our safe. Benelli by far was the most reliable. Beretta had t be cleaned the most with the most build up after a single shot. Remington was in between benelli and beretta. For deer hunting, i use a model 700 remington 7mm-08.
  24. Have you seen the ad for the instant fisherman, the rod that folds up? I just saw the ad and couldnt help but see what yall thought. I think its a pure joke.
