Have you seen the ad for the instant fisherman, the rod that folds up? I just saw the ad and couldnt help but see what yall thought. I think its a pure joke.

ya ive seen that thing too. to me they are all gimicks i wouldnt buy one if u paid me to buy it. my little nephew wants one of those rocket rod things and i can uderstand that he is a kid but every time i take him fishing we dont fish with reels because he isnt quite ready i learned that the hard way by him putting a treble hook in the back of my head but ya i think they are just jokes.

Was the ad for the instant fisherman with the bonus belt tackle box??????   I saw this ad a few weeks ago and wondered how many of these things they would actually sell.

I love the part of that ad where this heavier guy says that he can't believe how far the Instant Fisherman can cast and that he thought casting to the other side of the canal was unreachable.  Then they show him casting to the other side of this canal that is about 20 feet wide and everyone cheers when he casts it to the other side.  My question is what kind of crap was he using before that he couldn't cast 20 feet?

I was gonna order one to throw in the glove box lol. I looked it up an for reviews, reviews were NOT good at all. Also the shipping is like 60 bux lol.  Go look up the reviews its really funny.

I was going to order one for my glovebox, but decided to save some money and take a crap in there instead.

It does have a 10 yr warrenty LOL seems like  a survival thing if i bought one. But id put POWER PRO braid in place of the mono.Im sure it work in a instant to catch your supper for a few weeks..

A Pocket Fisherman might be handy for a motorcyclist.

anyone ever seen the fishing pole inside the ink pen type thing?  its about 8 inches long and looks almost like a doctors light when compacted.  the reel has to be attached...like a mini spinning reel.
