honeybuzz buzzbaits rule!!!! thanks "lightninrod"

Featured Replies

well i purchased a honeybuzz buzzbait over the winter & finally threw it yesterday & WOW!!!  this thing is the loudest buzzbait i ever used...i used to swear by lunker lures brand   but i have seen the light...i  caught a few fish in an hours time, but i had a ton a bass chase it....

thank you lightninrod for hyping this up in response to someones post a while back

ONE QUESTION::  has anyone used the new designed ones???? are they better than the original??

kb here yes i have used the new type with the different weight and sound system there louder i also tryed the other new one with a treble hook on back of blade works great except the skirt will get caught in the treble lower hook so i cut off the lower barb that would catch the skirt .does not catch skirt this way great bait kb i wish they were made of titanium seems like the upper arm bend to easy like when you throw it at wood structure and you hit or run bait over limbs it will bend enough so blade does not hit the weight to make its sound as well. kb you have to adjust the arm to many times. and if you dont and cast again and there is no sound it ticks me off . that bait does have a different sound again it is a great bizzbait kb

yeah i had the same problem with the blade not hitting the body & i had to keep bending it down....it really made me wish it was titanium  but i was anticipating a bass slamming it on every cast so i dealt with it

Thank you V!  Their already-rusty rivet makes for a good squeaking sound too.  Their hinged hook keeps Bass from throwing the bait most of the time too.  Haven't tried the new styles yet.
