Will someone please post a photo of a green pumpkin GYCB Senko............... and ONLY GYCB Senko's (no yum dingers or other look-a likes) with the tail dipped in chart. JJ's Magic..........and again, ONLY JJ's Magic chart. dye (not spike-it or other brands)

I have a purchase decision to make, and this would help me make my mind up. I have been using Yum Dingers with the chart. tip for several years now, but ran out of them and found and old bag of GP Senkos in my stash and dipped them in Spike-it. Maybe my Spike it was old, or the GYCB Senko formula doesn't play way with Spike-it, but I was less than pleased with the results. But I "rediscovered" today why GYCB Senkos are a valuable addition to the tackle box, even though I am a big fan of Dingers. In some instances the Senko is a better option..........like skipping boat docks in the wind when docks are socked in with matted, chopped up grass from heavy weekend boat traffic. The lighter weight Dinger, even on a weighted wacky jig just doesn't have the bulk/mass to keep skipping through the grass/wave chop, and fall through the stuff, and using a heavier weight wacky jig didn't sole the problem either, while the denser Senko trucks right through it and gets down to where the fish are. I'd rather not buy/order a bunch of chart. tipped GYCB Senkos if JJ's can put a good stain/color on locally, readily available plain old #297 or #301 green pumpkin Senkos for the times I need to get off my wallet and use them in situations like I had today where fish in this crap ONLY wanted a wacky rigged stick and would just slap at frogs, and totally ignore jigs, t-rigged craws/creature baits/other worms etc.. flipped into it. Thanks guys.

Oh, my God. Why did they let you in the K.I.S.S. club?

Well, it is a simple request.

if i can think to do it when i get home tonight, i'll test it out for you.  even if i don't have the GY senko in that color (which i think i do) i'm almost certain i have some grubs in that color that i could run the same color test on.

Had some grubs and pro senkos in green pumpkin/black flake....  did the dye test on them with JJ's chartreuse, dipped for 7-8 seconds. I dipped both ends of each bait to show the thinner, the bait the more chartreuse you see.

I also just happened to have the exact dinger you are looking to replicate and included that in the last pic :D

Hope it helps!

You're not going to notice the color in a picture but when you see it in the water it'll slap you in the face. Just get your senkos and your JJ's chartreuse and watch the magic happen

Find a Custom company that will make you just the chartreuse tips. Then you can cut the tail off the GYBC Senko and use a lighter to melt and piece the two together.

I would make you some but dont have a tip mold.

I stopped by a buddies house with some GYCB senkos, as I know he had JJ's. And had him dip one for me so I could see the results in person. It was satisfactory..............much better than spike-it. Looks like a jar of JJ's is on the list for my next TW order.

Totally agree here. I never dip Senko in JJ magic but did that with Fat Ika green pumpkin and result were really good especially in water.

Try the Strike King Ocho and Netbait Salt Lick. Both are more durable than the GY Senko, but are heavier than the dingers and better built for skipping.
