Daiwa Ardito vs Fenwick Methods

Featured Replies

I have Googled my brain out, and can't find a direct comparison on these two.  They both get recommended, but I want to know, which is best?  Is the Ardito more sensitive?  Does the versatility of the Methods make it the better travel rod?

I really want to hear from people that have used both, if possible. Thanks!

I've actually got to check out both, the methods is a nice rod, guides are aligned up nicely, grip feels solid, feels like a sensitive rod even for a 3 piece. My buddy bought the ardito... Guides inserts were not set in properly, nor were they aligned properly. His first cast he lost his favourite jerkbait due to the guides cutting his line. Hes returning it and of he can get a full refund he's going with the methods.

I was looking into the methods for a travel rod too. Shimano has a few rods that come in two pieces and isn't much longer than a 3 piece travel. I ended up getting a 6'10" zodias 2 piece and I love it. I wouldn't hesitate to try out the methods or 2 piece zodias.

I'm just worried that the Methods isn't as sensitive.  I've heard in a couple reviews that it was disappointing in that regard, but then some others say it is good...for a travel rod.
