So these Gamakatsu Wicked Wacky TO ME are the best weedless dropshot hook design. Unfortunately the smallest the come is 1/0. And its a big obnoxious 1/0 at that. 

 

A company at least ten years ago made a very similar hook in smaller sizes but not made any more that I know of. 

 

The trick to these is the tube for the dropper that keeps it untangled and bait standing out.

 

So does anyone else make these in smaller sizes or do I have to get the Fly vice out? Ty.

I might try shrink tube instead of tieing. Where do I get the lil straw tho?

I make my own weedless wacky and drop shot (and Ned rig) hooks.

 

So break out the fly tying vice! It's cheaper any how. Buy a bunch

of hooks, some leader material, bada bing!  

I had these hooks and some shrink tubing. Not my favorite weedguard but should do until the G-finesse are out. I dont think I need to shrink the tubing as it seems to stay OK. And I doubt the flouro would appreciate the heat. Ty

I have that Grammy weedless split/drop shot hook and hate it. They weed guard trend to not stay when cast and ruin the action.

I use Gamakatsu EWG #2 for my drop shot and never look back.
