Just looking for some tips on targeting smallmouth this time of year there. Heading there tomorrow and would appreciate some pointers. Thanks!

    I haven't fished Round Valley but smallies this time of year are gonna be tough. Hot water really puts them off during the day. Fishing low with jigs and slow with drop shots have produced for me this time of year on lakes near me. Good luck.

    Plenty of better places to fish...........try Oxford Furnace Lake instead ...smaller body of water with better fishing

    There aren't any smallmouth in OFL. I don't think.

    Plenty of nice sized largemouths though and don't forget the crazy Muskie .......

    My brother has been killing them on Union Lake. Live golden shiner is his go to bait.
