Alligator Alley MM35

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, I was out on MM35 about a month ago and the ramps were closed. Are they still closed?

The signs are for the air boaters.  They don't want people going into the flats and running down deer, or chasing them off the islands in the flat.  As long as you stay in the canal you are good.

Fishing has been terrible all along the Alley for the last month.  Way too much water everywhere. they way back in the junk feeding on everything that lives back in there.

I wasn't planning on going out there Saturday night because there having that tourney next weekend, I wanted to see if it's even worth trying. What's your recommendations, there or maybe holiday and get out in the flats?

Regardless of how crappy,  someone always finds a way to catch a few nice bass.  I have fished it a few times in the last few months and its been terrible.  The flats would be where to go, or if you can find a place with good current.  I will not be back out there until the water drops.  I can't help any more then that.  I obviously don't have the answers right now.

I do think the Holey Land would be better, just don't get shot out there!!!!!!!

Thanks, I'll probably just head out to the alley because I don't have to much confidence in the flats, I just do know where to go, thanks

the lake is up over 13ft..  I'm heading up there until the water drops which may or may not happen at this point until the spring.  They'll be getting set to hold the water by the end of September.

I went to the alley on Saturday night, it was pretty good actually. The homestead hawg hunters had a tourney going on so there way quite a bit of boats out there. I was catching 2 pounder very frequently and lost 2 nice ones. If I put some more time in I could of put an OK bag. 21 pounds won the tourney, pretty solid

The first decent report in quite a while.  Did they catch them in the canal?

Yeah all my fish were caught on the canal that runs parallel to I-75

I was out there at night a few weeks ago.  We caught 1 nice one a few 2-3 lbr's.  We left around 9:30pm, and from what I had understood the bite turned on much later.  I'll be concentrating on the lake for a while now.
