This past weekend I met up with some old friends and started talking fishing.  One of them lives in his parents old house on Millville Lake. I grew up fishing here and he has granted me access to fish it again.  It's been about 15 years or so since i last wet a line on this lake but from my memories the bass fishing was excellent.  He did stress to me that the lake has undergone some drastic plant type changes in the past few years.  It was always lily pads and coontail from what i remember but now it is thick with Najas grass in depths from about 2'-8'.  Anybody have any insight on fishing this sort of plant type, it is not native to the area.

 

I have attached a link to the navionics page showing depth maps.  Any thoughts on where to start?  The inlet is located at the northern most end and the dam is on the eastern edge just as the lake opens up.  The south west end is loaded with stumps along the shore.  Most homes have a dock.
