I have been running around barrie looking for places I can fish more than 1 spot on but so far every pond and shore fishable lake ive been to is never taken care of and has tall grass everywhere around the bank with very few places where there is clear spot and that leaves no room for me to fish at places that will hold bigger fish does anyone know of spots in barrie or any ways to fish these types of waterbodies?

Perhaps you could invest in a pair of chest waders and a wading belt.

If the water at the bank isn't too deep, that would get you off the bank and around shoreline obstructions. 

Casting might be easier.

You may want to consider locating a local source of supply and trying some on to ensure a proper fit.

And I'll mention this again because it's an important safety deal - buy & wear a wading belt.

@A-Jay I'm gonna have to check into some of those too as I have very similar problems fishing from the banks around here. Some of the lakes and ponds have plenty of clear bank to fish from, but not necessarily in the best bass holding spots. Grass and bushes are way too tall and thick in most if not all the prime areas for bass. Hope waders and a belt aren't too pricey for me right now.

my boat has been in the shop for a week. tried bank fishing the same lakes I fish with the boat.

It made me realize how spoiled  I have become. 

In a boat you just move around until you find fish.

from bank you have to find accessible areas and then try to find fish in those areas.

unfortunately accessible areas around here get fished to death.

yeah the life of a poor boatless bass fisherman...

was boatless for almost 2 weeks.

they finally found the problem.

it was a faulty voltage regulator.

If possible take something to hack some weeds and a hand saw to trim limbs on trees, that is if it isn't illegal. Then you can open up your spot.
