Something I got curious about...

How many of us here will not touch 13  Fishing rods/reels because this site bans/censors them?  Just curious...

It has nothing to do with that for me.  I buy daiwa reels and St croix rods.  Why try 13 if I feel the products I use are better

Pretty much the same for me!

13 Fishing is pure junk that's over-hyped by a bunch of clueless Youtubers.

IBTL - could care less whether a forum banned someone or some company. I'm free to leave or not participate if it bothers me, and owners have the right to operate their site however they see fit - been there, done that. Have no need for the rods/reels because of easy access to so many others I have a lot more experience with.

The rods I feel were way over-hyped. My first rod had quality issues so exchanged it. When I got to finally use it the fit for me was not there. The grip just too small/thin for my liking. The sensitivity isn't as good as another rod I have in the price range and it's a bit "heavy" for its power length compared to my others as well. I gave the version 2  a try and that didn't impress me either balance off and once again it was heavier than others so a double whammy in balance/weight. Gander had some 40% off I passed don't feel they are worth it at that discount. So it's the product not this site that has me not wanting to use the brand.

I really trust the advise on this site and love how they run things.   But I do feel free to buy anything I feel I want in this free market economy.
