Have screwdriver..........will destroy

Featured Replies

A few months ago I posted that the extendable tiller on my MK vector55-3x was jammed.

I lived with it untill last night when I decided it would probably be an 'easy fix"

famous last words.

I took off the top and with some effort was able to unstick the tiller, but try as I might I can't get it lined up properly back in the housing.  What I mean is that the motor works.  I can speed it up but I can't get to shut down.  the best I can do is get the prop turning very slowly but the "on" light stays lit.

I took it apart and back together several times.  It's even worse now so it's time to admit defeat and take it to the service center.

I don't think I broke anything, but one never knows, do one?

Today I was cleaning our windows which are the tilt - in style.  In the process of returning the window to the track, I pressed too hard and broke it.  I taped it up as a temp fix and then tried again.  As I did, the mini blinds got in my way which I proceeded to destroy when I tried to get them out of the way.  So, in summary, I have a several hundred dollar ordeal to make it right again......all so the kids could have a good view of the birdfeeders outside the window.  Sometimes you just can't win.

Hey Ceph.

Next time how about I clean your windows and you fix my trolling motor?

Now that's a good deal!  I will personally bring my tools and window down to Florida.  I may just have to stick around long enough for you to show me some of those Florida bass, though.  "But Honey, Avid needs me and I'll only be gone for a week or so."

You sly guy you.
