I have a 12' v-bottom jonboat and me n dad decided we wanted to put decks on it so it would be a "mini bass boat" and make fishing from it easier.  We've worked on it for the past few weeks and finished it last weekend.  Here's some pics...

    Nice job! I wonder if the seat peds being so tall will make the boat easier to rock from side to side.

    I put seats in my river jon boat and ended up getting rid of the peds, it's 14 X 36.   But not finished out on the inside.

    It doesnt rock all that bad.  I had it out lastnight and it works great.  Of course you cant move around in it like a bass boat but I like it... ;)

    That looks real nice. I love having a small boat that is comfortable to fish from. It allows you to get so many places that other guys with the big boats can't get to. Cool boat!

    Is it a Smokercraft? If it is then that lip that runs along the sides of the boat make it really easy to put in flat deck there between the two benches. You may have already thought of it and ruled it out, but that's what I did to my 14' and it worked out great. I'll try to post some pics soon.

    I think it is and I think i know what you're talking about.  We kinda ruled out putting a flat piece in the middle because if you notice in the pics theres basically a river in my backyard and the hillside is really steep...I didnt wanna make it any heavier than what i had to.
