Do any of you use the Hummingbird 787c2 fish finder? What are the pros and cons of the unit. What accessories do you recommend?

I had a 787c2 for over a year now and absolutely love it.  It has the best resolution and power for $650.  Humminbird is offering a free weathersense monitor for the 700 series units thru the end of the year.  You just need to pay shipping at $6.  About the only accessory you might need is a cover for it when you store it.  Get some time on the water with it you will love it.

I think the biggest advantage that these side imaging Humminbirds offer is that you'll be able to see structure without riding directly over it. Plus it will give you a better idea of exactly what you're looking at.

.....and all those brushpiles that I worked so hard to sink, aren't safe anymore.

Don't pass up the 797, for the extra money it is worth it.  The image of the bottom, blew me away, and the gps comes in handy for marking the newly found "hidden" structure.  LOVE MINE
