Good Afternoon.

Hooked up Eagle 500c fishfinder and it starts beeping eratically and then you shut it off and it comes back on! Wires were connected correctly and in line fuse was good. Any ideas?

I had somewhat of a similar problem. Mine would randomly turn on. If yours got wet make sure it dries out. That got rid of my problem. We eventually found out that we just had a bad unit after a few other problems kept coming up.

I have an older Eagle. When you turn it off you need to hold the off button down for a few seconds or it comes right back on!

I have a brand new 480 and you need to hold the button down for a few seconds before it powers down.  Has the unit ever worked properly for you?
