Inline spinners

Featured Replies

Anyone throw these on braid? I was fishing them on mono with real bad line twist even with a swivel above. Not sure if the braid would twist as well

If you are getting line twist when using an inline spinner, your spinner is bad. Only the blade is supposed to spin. If the entire bait is spinning, try a different lure.

All line will twist. A quality swivel helps but there will always be line twist to some degree using lures in this class. It is what it is but I still like to use them.

If the case is as Scott suspects, the clevis is usually the culprit. No problem, clevis' are cheap and inlines are very easy to make.

When I make them, I incorporate a good barrel swivel in the build when possible.

There are different ways to put line on your spool. Could that cause your line twist?

i use ball bearing locking snap swivels. There at Walmart besides the expensive ones at cabelas/BPS.
