Looking at the 7’3” medium and 7’ medium spinning rods. Besides the 3” length difference does each rod have a slightly different taper/action?

Kastking Zephyr arrived today. I ordered the 2000. The reel is smaller than other 2000-2500 reels. Reel was sticky out of the box. Definitely not a good first kastking impression. Returning to Amazon

Heading down to my in-laws in Boynton beach Saturday-Wednesday for a mini vacation. Never fished Florida for bass, but a bass is a bass. I’m assuming it’s post spawn? They have a lake in there backyard but willing to do a bit exploring. Anyone have any recommendations or tips for that area? Thanks in advance

Any tips on getting the knot to tighten up nicely? I’ve used lots of spit but sometimes the knot doesn’t bunch up tight. Haven’t had any issues with it failing but it’s always in the back of mind

Payton is a poor coach? You don’t goto championship games, have a ring under your belt as a poor coach. Look what Denver was before Payton was there. They were far from a great team that Sean Payton “stumbled “into Payton hand picked bo nix when nobody else believed in him. I’m not the biggest Bo nix fan but he does enough to win. You have to credit Payton for helping Bo nix develop into a good NFL qb. Look at Josh Allen and McDermott. It’s hard to win in this league. While I don’t think Payton is a hall of fame coach I consider him to be an excellent coach

Can’t blame the ref for the outcome of the bills game. Bills had 4 turnovers, in the end Josh Allen needed to play better. I also think McDermott needs to go. It’s not going to work with these two. Josh Allen had some wide open receivers he just missed or was too late As for the broncos, don’t sleep on stidham. While I don’t think they’ll win the super bowl they can make it to one

The whole rams team looks off to me from the bottom to top and with frigid cold temps forecasted at soldier field I like the bears in a high scoring game. Take aways from this weekend: Winners -Patriots have a bright future with a stud Qb and brilliant head coach. I think they are a year or two away from being true Super Bowl contenders. I just don’t think they have enough to win it all this year -bears are a good team and if you are a Chicago fan you have to be very happy with Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson. With that being said playing from behind game after game does not win championships. -49ers head coach Kyle shanahan is without a doubt coach of the year and its hard to doubt them. They continue to find a way to win. -bills: I don’t think The team is built to win a Super Bowl but with Josh Allen on the field anything is possible and it’s hard to pick Against them. The key to beating the bills is to knock Josh Allen around as much as possible. -I don’t know what to make of the rams? They nearly lost twice to a 8-9 Carolina team and the whole team looked off. I don’t expect them To go Further especially in a cold windy Chicago environment . Losers -Carolina has a bright future and I think they Are a year or two away from being a contender. Canales is a great coach and Bryce young continues to improve -packers coach Matt Lafleur significantly out coached Ben Johnson in the first half. Jordan love had a great game but Lafleur didn’t seem to make any adjustments in the second half and gave up a a double digit lead with 6 minutes remaining. Not sure where the packers go from here -jaguars are a great well coached young team but when you have Superman Josh Allen on the other side it’s another story. Trevor Lawrence overall played well but made a few mistakes. I expect this team to be in every year going forward. I had jaguars winning this one but was wrong. -eagles failed to address their offense all year long. A change at coordinator is needed. Sirrianni is a winning coach but seems to be to reliant on coordinators. -until Justin Herbert decides to show me otherwise in the postseason he will continue to be a failure in my eyes. I know the team is always injured but you just have to play better than you played Sunday night.
