Overnight travel towing boat

Featured Replies

I'm traveling from Houston to Moors Resort on Kentucky Lake. I've never traveled overnight pulling the boat. I'm looking for any advice from experienced "over the road" anglers on "fisherman friendly" accommodations. More specifically, is there certain criteria you look for in the accomodations that make you feel more secure leaving your rig parked overnight. Any other advice or thoughts on overnight traveling with your boat is most welcome as well. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Well, I have to apologize. After posting my question, I did a google search for traveling with a boat. As luck would have it, my search took me to a 2013 forum post on taking long trips with the boat. So, my post was one of redundancy. My initial search in the forums failed to bring up any results, but the wording of my search may be what failed to produce. Y'all are still welcome to offer any advice.

There is a "bass boat security" thread with good info.

Glenn suggested using a baby monitor I thought was genius!
