Any good lakes to take my new kayak out onto in western pa?

Welcome to the site. Sorry I just now saw this post. What part of western PA are you in? Almost every lake in western PA is limited horsepower, so that's usually beneficial to the kayak guys.

It takes 18-22 pounds to win any bass tournament on Raystown...

 

Maybe it's a little tough to fish from a kayak because of it's size and the pleasure boats, but it's a solid bass fishery.

Let us know what area in western PA. I know a good number of lakes out that way.

Moraine,  upper end of Wilhelm, and the lagoons in PIB. Are all great for kayaks.
