Can I run two 30 thrust motors on one battery since there both 12 volt?

You might be able to, but I imagine it would drain your battery pretty quickly. Also, I doubt that it would give you the equivalent of 60 lbs. of thrust.

I agree with fendrcaster, you can, but if you run both motors at the same time, don't plan on getting too far from shore.

I would PM Randall on this one before trying it.  IF you can do it w/o frying anything, you sure won't get far.  Buy another batt for motor #2.

I run 3 motors and one depth finder off of 1 12 volt battery bank.  Now the battery bank consists of 4 145 amp hour 6 volt batteries. I hook two six volts in series to get 12 volts then hook the 2 twelve volts in parrellel to get one big 12 volt bank.  I run all day with hardly any discharge on the batteries.  I have two 50lb minn kotas and a 22 lb mariner I run all day.
