Anybody been out to lox lately?I'm going tomorrow haven't been out here since the hurricane just wondering how the fishing has been?Thanks guys!

Been out one time since the hurricane and it was fairly slow as expected.  Still super high water levels as well.  Did okay, went out with my pops and I believe we caught 6 on the day together.  Nothing of any size.  This was several weeks ago though.  Heading out tomorrow morning to check it out again.  How did you make out?

Went yesterday it was brutal a few tiny bass and yes the water is high and muddy.Do you know exactly what all that construction is about?

Was out on Sunday as well from 630am through 1030am.  Had a little better luck but I was in my kayak and headed back pretty deep into the flats.  Didn't fish any of the main canal or spoil bank.  Caught 10 lm on the day, 3 decent sized over 3lbs and lost 3 others. Biggest may have been 4 pounds.  One pickerel as well.  Caught most of them on a green ribbit frog, but also caught them a swim bait, and rage craw as well.  

 

The construction is due to some new pumps they are putting in apparently to better control the water levels. Have it all chewed up.  Supposed to be done byh end of November but that isn't happening from the looks of it. Sounds like u had a good day!I gotta get a new trolling motor that's stronger so I can get in the flats,the main canal isn't holding nothing,I was afraid they were gonna turn lox into holiday park glad to hear it's just the pumps,heading out tomorrow see what I can do thanks for info!

I went out last week during the windy days.  Caught about 10 dinks on a spinnerbait fishing the flats. 

 

There were some good looking mats out the end of the west canal (out of Boca) but I only got one bite out of it.

Fished a location close to Lox recently and caught lots of quality sized bass with a few big ones. Fishing will only get better the next couple months.
