Waiting on FedEx support thread

Featured Replies

Hi guys, my name's Jim, and I've been a tackle addict for many years now. I'm currently sitting at my desk shaking like a junkie in need of a fix, waiting for FedEx to show up with my new rod!!!! And it's not even supposed to be here until tomorrow! What's worse is that my new girlfriend to mount on it isn't scheduled to be here until FRIDAY! :annoyed1: I don't think I can hold out that long without my fix!

Who else is like a kid waiting for Christmas when you know you've got goodies on the way?

That's me when it is shipped USPS. But if I see it coming FedEx I know I won't be getting it for at least 3 days past the scheduled delivery date.

the last time Fed Ex Delivered to me it was scanned undeliverable due to inclimate whether yet it was in the 40s with sun and no snow in the middle of January here in Ohio. I ended up having to drive 45 minutes to the nearest FedEx to pick it up and file a complaint.

So I always have packages sent to my office, so that someone can sign for them. Last time I was waiting I checked the tracking later in the day and it said: "Delivery Exception: No one to sign or business closed" or something like that.... I called FedEx, got through to the local supervisor, and was raising holy hell. He was taking his driver's side saying we must have been out to lunch, didn't open the door, etc..... I confirmed the time of attempted delivery and asked the supervisor if he had an email address. He said of course I do, why. Told him I was going to send him 16 different timestamped security footage angles of an open office with 3 people in it and a FedEx truck never even coming within a block of the property within any direction.

About half an hour later a very angry driver showed up with my package

I had a Fed Ex delivery to my work once and the driver came to make routine deliveries but never had my rods I ordered about 2 hours later my rods were scanned undeliverable (he forgot to drop them off) I called and was raising hell until I got directed to the local hub and explained as you did as well and got the same results even though I had to stay late at the office waiting for him to come back.

I love my local delivery drivers. And they love me. Every once in a while I tell them I have a 12-pack that needs to be delivered to their house. Do they have the address and will they take it?

My rods always arrive on time and in perfect shape. Sometimes even before the scheduled delivery date.

Sometimes you gotta give a little love... to get a little love...

I really don’t believe in bribing someone to get them to complete their most basic job functions. If you have a driver willing to go the extra mile and leave packages in a nonstandard location, put them inside for you, etc by all means show some appreciation.

My USPS, UPS, and FedEx Express drivers are all fantastic. That FedEx ground driver left A LOT to be desired on more than one occasion. The new guy that has the route seems pretty good though.

UPS has always been excellent.  FedEx was spotty, but where I live now, that driver is great.

USPS...just no.

Yakn,

I was speaking strictly of my local USPS  delivery people only. The system as a whole..... well my momma taught me that if you can’t say anything nice....

I used to be a mailman at USPS. The mass amounts of stress and pressure they put on you causes a lot of missed deliveries and sketchy delivery. Also if you order from Amazon your mailman has to delivery exactly of Amazon tells them no matter how inconvenient it is more the customer.

Am I the only one using GSO ? Lol they do a great job though.

I hate all 3 of the big carriers equally! Way too many bad experiences with all of them.
