Got decks and trolling motor on boat

Featured Replies

We had this done a couple of weeks ago, and I just got the pictures onto my computer. We ended up getting a free 28 lb trolling motor out of pure luck. It's a long story, its a friend of a friend of a friend type thing so I won't get into it. Putting on carpet and seats soon. Let us know what you think

Here is the back deck's neat little feature, we wanted the deck to stick out past the bench, but have support, so we made the support into a little seat. Pretty neat.

Thanks alot

The seat idea was my Dad's. We really wanted the back deck to be bigger and have support, so we made if a seat. The other great thing is it works as a little bit of storage, and with the livewell for tournaments gives us foot room when we are driving around.

Nice job!

I have a few questions as I have a V bottom jon I am itching to get "decked out".  ;D

#1 How long is your boat, looks like you have a ton of legroom between benches (wich makes me insanely jealous!)?

#2 What did you use for support under the bow platform seeing as it isn't a solid piece, would you mind a pic with those doors open? ;)

#3 How much of a performance hit did the extra weight give to the performance with all of the lumber in the boat?

Thanks in advance, I saw that puc in another thread and hadn't found this one. :)
