Leaking Water Pressure Gauge - 1989 Bass Tracker

Featured Replies

I have a 1989 Bass Tracker with a 150hp Mariner motor. Water was coming from under the dash and I found that the water was coming from the small hole in the water pressure gauge.

Has anyone else had this problem and do you have any suggestions for repair? Do I have to buy a new gauge?

Thank you,

John in Tennessee

Make sure it is the gauge and not the hose - if gauge and you don't want wet feet then replace.

I had the same problem last year w/ my '84 merc. 150. Next time your on the lake try to look if it's the line or guage. If it's the line and you have enough cut off the section and put back on, or run a new line from the motor. Guage just replace it. lol
