Wild Creature Bait

Featured Replies

Any body out there fished the Molix creature bait?  Just received two pacs from TW and these puppies weigh 7/16oz, so they should cast great.  I Texas rigged mine with a 3/0, one of two choices the site shows.  The site shows them using a 4/0, but it just too big for me since the belly is split. The other choice is with a jig.  Now, if the ice would melt on the river.....

It looks like a decent sized bait. I might go with a 4/0 or 5/0 flipping hook. To me, it's a little bit too big for a jig, at least in the winter. All in all, I think a 4/0 flipping of EWG would suit this bait well. That bloody pumpkin color looks dynamite for my local lake between now and April.

One of the pacs I bought is the bloody pumpkin thinking the murkey Potomac would be a good place for it.  Go away ice!!!

I'll anxiously await reports.  At twice the price of my single favorite plastic (Rage Bug), I'm going to hold off until I hear that those will regularly outperform....the profile is just too similar for me to jump in and use both.

I got to say the price would stop me in my tracks. You could buy 2 packs of Pit Bosses for less. I'll give them a pass for now.

Some of these bait companies need a serious reality check on some of these prices on baits! Holy crap!
