El Dorado Park Long Beach fishing tips?

Featured Replies

I have fished el dorado park in long beach multiple times. I have caught a few dinky bass and nice 4 pounder. I have also caught a rainbow trout (when they were stocked) and a few bluegill and crappie. Yes I have caught some fish there but I never have the best luck. I usually throw 6 in roboworms and flip jigs in the heavy weeds. I regularly get skunked there so I was wondering if one of the lakes is better than another or if I should start throwing other things?

I think that might be the best you can get out of city park lake here in SoCal. When I fish there I always dropshot or spit shot with the smallest plastic I can get away with. You can try Cerritos park but the result might be the same.

Another place but a little bit further is tri city park are in Irvine or Yorba Regional Patk.

BTW, welcome to BR. Don't forget to introduce yourself so others can help you. I used to live in Los Alamitos but now move to riverside area.
