First time poster and i'm wondering what is the best way to attach aluminim angle or tubing to bottom and side ribs since they are tapered. Any pics of this would be helpful. Rebuilding casting deck and floor on 16' grumman. I went back thru the past  posts and looked at pics never thought of using aluminum until now, anyway thanks in advance. So which do you prefer Toledo or Rayburn?

Sorry, unable to post pics. I will try to give a description, 16' long 20" deep with a single bench at the back and short factory made deck at the front all welded with 8 ribs between the bench and the front deck. It has a slight v bottom with a 25 suzuki. I bought this boat several years ago and with a job change and a move I quit fishing almost totally. My original plans was a trotline boat but I want to bass fish and crappie fish too.  I have fished both lakes but probably fish Rayburn more cause its a little closer. What exactly are you trying to accomplish, just adding a floor & needing to add angles at the bottom of the seat?

Trying to floor the boat and add a front casting deck also pedestal bases front and back. Possibly add some storage under the floor. Wekcome all ideas.
