Going to guntersville the last week of April.  Any tips on best lures,techniques, or areas to try?

Having fished the Big G for 10 + years, I would recommend hiring a good guide for a day or two. Mike Carter, Jake Davis or Tim Chandler are some of the best ones.

Otherwise, try a rattletrap over eel grass flats, 6 - 9 FOW over shell beds. Don't think the Ledges will be holding many. Try up river above Scottsboro, Raccoon Creek, Mud Creek, etc. They might be a few still spawning.
