Didn't Johnson make a V-8 outboard 305Hp or 315Hp back in the 80's?

Awesome motor. Wonder how the old 17' Express boat would run with that outboard with a jet prop,lol. I would bet that is one heavy motor as far as weight.

They made a GT 300 back in the 80's. I knew a guy who had one on a 21' Charger Bass boat and he claimed it would run in the low 90's. Not sure if that's true though about the speed.

Perhaps that speed was while he was going down the highway to the lake.   ;)
