Anyone use K9 fluoro?

Featured Replies

they just started selling it in my local shop. Seems like a great bargain but most of the reviews Ive seen said its better for treble hook applications than worm/ jigs. I'm wondering why its not considered as good for texas rigs and jigs. I currently use Pline fluoroclear and havent had any issues. Thoughts?

yikes no replies, I guess Ill have to steer clear.

Yes. It’s great line for cranks and jerkbaits. It has a lot more stretch than regular fluro...hence the avoidance for jigs and Texas rigs.

I have it on my spinnerbait, squarebill, deep crank rods.

Never heard of the stuff. Just looked it up and saw that it's not 100% fluoro, so it's out for me. Saw several people compare it to YZH, so maybe that's the niche. Can't be any worse than fluoroclear :P

I know I had a reel spooled with invizx but when I get a new reel my budget for line goes down haha its a hard knock life I suppose

I tried it and was not impressed at all. It was the weakest line I’ve ever used. Tried 12 15 and 20. Only line I’ve ever bought and refused to use for anything
