San Diego Guides

Featured Replies

I plan on going to San Diego from May 18-22. I've got a little extra cash and thought it might be fun to hire a guide to get me on some big bass.

Does anyone have recommendations for guides that might be able to put me on some big LMBs in the San Diego area?

Try contacting Rusty Brown or Tom Lowery. San Vicente lake should be good in May.

Kind of a slow day considering how much the trip has cost me. But that’s why it’s called fishing and not catching. Going out again tomorrow to a different lake in hopes of the DD.

Glad to see you got out to fish with Rusty. I fished with him on Diamond a few years back. Good guy. Those Ca. DD aren't as easy to catch as most think.

Or as Rusty might make one believe on the phone haha. Agree he’s a great guy though.
