BPS brand tolling motor problem.... On my buddy's boat with a 45 lb transom mount had an issue today. The motor ran fine early in the day but about half way through the day it wouldn't go forwards and vibrates badly in reverse. Any ideas for a solution considering receipt has long since been lost?

They are really good people to deal with so I'd just take the tmotor back and talk with them.  It is very possible that they will exchange it.  I have had nothing but good experiences with those people.

take the prop off and make sure there isn't any fishing line rapped around the shaft, or something else in there preventing the motor from turning one way.
