my brother just bought a 1988 Tracker Tourney F/S boat with a 115hp motor. the seller stated that the 115hp motor is the same as the 150hp motor with different carbs. anyone know if this is true or not?

Might Be more than Carbs. Someting Like more cylinders and more cc's

What the Model number on the 115. That year Some were 4 cyl and some were 6's

On the 4's i would say not, but On the 6 cyl, Could be.... but you would have to change out more than carbs

Though both were 6 cyl, (thought they called it a tower of power or something like that) but the carbs and little bit bigger cylanders.
