Lews TXS Speed Spool Beginner Settings

Hey all! I am new to baitcasters and have been having trouble getting good with casting (avoiding backlash and gaining distance). I have this setup:

I wanted to get advice on centrifugal and magnetic brake settings for beginners as I learn to use this reel. Any advice is appreciated!

This is a good place to start, as you gain confidence you can loosen things up to gain distance, it’s just a matter of practice and patience.

Lews reels are a bit finicky in my opinion but get it Dialed in good and just practice practice you’ll get it can’t learn a baitcaster overnight.
