Livetarget spinner rig

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, it's a pretty new lure. Has anyone used one yet? They have different sizes in different weights. What is the difference between the medium and large?

What is everyone's thoughts on other livetarget lures?

That rig is essentially a miniature Alabama rig from what I’ve seen of it. In my opinion it is an over priced fancy spinnerbait.

Their field mouse is one of my favorite lures. Very productive for me.

Yep, sometimes it gets bit for me when the frog won't. I really like the subsurface swimming action when you walk it

Haven’t tried it yet. However, The Livetarget Threadfin Baitball Series Squarebill is one of my favorite lures of all time.

Livetarget generally makes good quality lures. I like their frogs, which are nicely soft and collapsible, and some of their crankbaits, especially the crappie and bluegill.

However, I think their life-like finishes --the main thing their baits are known for-- is mostly unnecessary and doesn't give any real advantage over less-expensive baits. I think they end up being priced too high, and for the wrong reasons.

I don't have a lot of time with the bait but it has caught me 3-4 average Bass so far in about an hour half total time so far. Looks good in the water and I'm reasonably confident it will producer at the right place and time. Time will tell if it will be a mainstay in my arsenal.
