I know the lure rating states 3/8 - 4 oz, but is this rod really that versatile?

 

I mean with that rating I’m thinking it could do everything from punching, to small swimbaits, to crankbaits.

 

Does anyone have experience with this rod?

    Yeah it's that good.  They are moderate fast so I love them for everything with trebbles.  Fishes a standard 1/2 Oz crank bait just as good as a deps 175.  I have the c40 and my fishing partner uses the slantbridge model.  Very different handles but the blank acts very close to the same.

    With it being moderate fast, is it capable of being punching / heavy T-rig rod as well?
