Brian Hartman of Alexandria Bay,NY caught an 18lb 2 oz Walleye this past Saturday (05/05/2018), on the St. Lawrence River. Below is a picture of this beast. My friend Dick Garlock witnessed the catch as he was fishing the same area. Dick also knows Brian & went over to see the fish. What`s funny is that Brian weighed the fish on an old hand scale & he thought it weighed 16 lbs. Dick convinced him to weigh the fish on a certified scale, which he did at the 1000 Island bait store. I heard it was witnessed by the DEC.
