I broke out my Arbogast Buzz Plug Jr last night for some pond fishing. I had a blow-up under some low hanging tree branches but failed to hook up. Next cast my line got fouled up in those branches and pulling it free I somehow lost the double hooks that the Buzz Plug came with.

 

I am looking at the loss as a gift as I didn't like the stock hooks it came with. I am thinking of adding a split ring and a treble hook. I have a size 4 treble hook do you guys think that will suffice for the Jr. Buzz Plug? Will a treble even work as the lure was designed with the double hook in mind?

I have the regular buzz plug. And I swapped out the hook with a #2 treble. The #4 treble might be a little too small with the big butt on the buzz jr. But it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.

I will try the #4 and if it doesn't work I will move up to a #3 Thanks.
