Touching up paint on aluminium boats....

Featured Replies

Hey all...

My fishing buddy and I are upgrading/renovating a 1989 Fisher aluminum bass boat. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on preparing the surface of the boat and what paint, primers, etc. for the highlights (trim) on the boat. Maybe we'd be better off using decals but the cost of those would pobably be crazy. Any advice, comments, or suggestions????

Thanks in advance

Russ...

All I can say is WOW!!!  I will freely admit that I am not that handy!!!! I probably should have said more cosmetic than anything else.  Some wiring and some trim paint etc. Ever think about this as a career???? I can see the show on ESPN:

Al-It's all easy stuff with very rewarding results.  Sanding, painting, and the ability to use a staple gun, glue can and cordless drill.  That's all the skill required.  Very easy, let me know if I can help.
