Fishfinder and sunglass problems

Featured Replies

My Garmin Striker 5 shows up well in all conditions. However, the screen is very difficult to see when I wear my polarized sunglasses. Does anyone have this problem, and how did you fix it?

i  have a hummingbird helix 7. the actual graph looks fine with suglasses, but the down and side imaging was hard to see. I had to play around with the screen colors to to get a picture I could see. without sunglasses I use the blue screen on side imaging. with sunglasses the only screen I can decipher is brown/tan.

Next time you look at it, with your sunglasses on, turn your head 90 degrees and see if it looks better. If it does, the polarization on your screen isn’t lined up normally.

I hand the same problem and changed sunglasses.
