I live in S. FL and I am looking to by a boat that can pull double duty, flats/bay and bass fishing.  Any recommendations?  I like the 1820 or 1890 FlatsMaster by Actioncraft, but I am not sure how dry it will ride with a 2 foot chop.

Any of the saltwater flats boats can be used for bassin' but not all bass boats (if any) are made for saltwater.

Hells Bay makes a nice flats boat, how much are you looking to spend?

Under 20K for a used boat.  Hell's Bays are nice but a bit too specialized for flats fishing.  I was thinking more along the lines of Hewes, Pathfinder.

I saw this on another board. Looks like a good fit maybe. I dont know much about Skeeters  but they have been around a while so they must be decent. I was thinking the same thing as you. I want a bass boat that I can throw in the bays up here in Mass and fish for stripers.
