Curing jigs with weed guards

Featured Replies

I’m looking at buying some unpainted football head jigs with the weed guards installed.  I plan on painting the jigs my self with powder paint.  After painting the jigs I Will be curing them at 350. At that temp in the convection oven will it cause the weed guards to melt/ be destroyed?

I would suggest buying the jigs without the weedguards installed. Put in Teflon pins in the holes so you can paint the jigs. Take out Teflon pins, bake and then glue in weedguards. I have had all the weedgurds start to curl  doing it with the weedguards installed. If you need more instructions feel free to PM me and I will send you a painting sheet on how I do it.
