That makes sense to me, a 2/0 is what I had in mind since 3/0 seems a tad too big. What gets me is the bait keeper on the shank and the overall gap size of the hook after I stick it in. Seems like too much. It'd work for a biffle bug or something that size though, but I haven't fished that yet since it tends to float. Requires a swinging head iirc.

I got my order in, do you want compare picture of rebarb hook? I got #1, 1/0 medium and 2/0. I use #1 for dropshot 1/0 for weightless worm, Hula grub and 2/0 for everything else.

Some good advice, different opinions as to what is biting you.    I'd only add that if you suggested, I believe you did, that someone nearby is catching bass with a similar T-Rig and you are

  • My regular dropshot hook #2 Gamakatsu EWG. I don't want dropshot hook to be too heavy so my plastic can get a lot of movement. I use rebarb hook especially for Elaztech stuff and EWG hook for others.

If you don't mind, absolutely.

I plan to use 1/0 medium wire for weightless worm, so I can get a little bit more weight to sink faster and make more vibrations when pulling through weed. To be honest I don't see much different between light wire VS medium wire.

I do believe that my old one is 3/0 which I use mostly for 7" and longer worm.

The 1/0 and 2/0 look perfect for what I'm wanting to do. I'm wanting to try and replace offset worm hooks with these to see of it helps me any. Thanks for the comparison.

I use GM Sencos and d**n near every fish I catch the senco is 5' up the line. I don't know how the hell it happens. Man I go through a lot of Sencos.

When bass shake head that would send any worm up the line, if it is not tear or damage you still can use it, otherwise save it and Mend-it later. If I don't have any worm on hand, I will bite about 1/4" of head and can use it again. You can hook to the tail end too but I don't normally do it.
