Im really starting to get into fishing again n Im driving my self a lil nuts lol im trying to find the best set up for top water like frogs,whoppers,ect. I have my spinning rod for my finesse fishing then I have my medium rod with 6.4.1 reel for my crankbaits jerkbait ect. Now question is my medium set up good  for  jigs an swimbaits? I really want a 3rd set up for top water an heavier flippin,jigs,ect. If i can get pointed in the right direction id appeciate it.  Thanks for the help in advance.

Boy, you are going to get answers all over the map for personal preferences.  I use a medium rod and reel about the speed as yours for top waters and cranks. . I use MH rods for flipping , jigs and worms and I just like fast reels for frogs and  plastics and even frogs.

I've caught some beasts using a MF casting rod and jig.

 

I normally use my MH casting rod for jigs now, but lighter

jigs are fine with M power (IMO). I also use spinning for 

some of my lighter jigs.
