So I currently have 2 kistler rods. 1 z bone and 1 helium. I have a St. Croix Mojo and Dobny Colt and 2 All Stars Rods..  As far as reels go I have a shimano citica and curado k, Dawai Tatula CT and CT-R and shimano Caenan. Trying to find two more setups would like any suggestions..All my setups are baitcasters. Trying to stay under $200 per rod/reel

It depends. Need to know more about what lures and methods you're using with the current ones, and what you feel you're missing.

Well you said all are casting so why not look into a spinning set up for dropshot and shaky heads, or other smaller finesse stuff? Another helium, z-bone, or glx with a shimano ci4+ Reel?

If I understand Adam correctly, he wants to spend no more than $200 per combo.  Ain't going to make it with any of those suggestions.  :teeth:  He also has a thread asking about the best $100 or less baitcast reel, so pretty sure my understanding of $200 for the combo is right.

Adam, you can get a Fuego 8.1:1 right hand off ebay right now for $62.99 with free shipping.  Or a 7.3:1 for $63.95.  I doubt you can find a better reel at those prices.  I have seen them for as low as $57.

Buying the Fuegos would allow you to spend up to about $130 per rod and stay in your budget.  I think the original Tatula rods are terrific.  Should be able to find a few for $110 or less.  Paid less than $100 for mine.  Fury, Mojo, Aird X, TP-1, TFO TFG Professional, HMG, iRod Fiber, BuCoo, E-Motion are a handful of possibilities.  Heck I got both my Helios rods for less than $130.  (That's per rod).  Very nice rods.

Oops my apologies! Missed that part some how. In that case the mojo bass has an excellent blank, the dobyns fury are also very popular. As far as reels go, I’m a fan of the Shimano NASCI but the daiwa fuego lt or the daiwa bg seems to be winning for most popular reel around the 100 dollar mark

Whoa!  Lots of excellent choices.  Too many to list.  ALX is having a sale on a few spinning rods if you go that direction.  They just happen to be finesse rods, too.  :teeth:  Too bad I already bought mine this year.  Tatula LT would look nice on one.

The Villain 2.0 is getting great reviews.  Check out Tackletour's review of a Villain spinning and casting rod.  TT also liked the Ark Invoker.

You've got a lot of research to do.  Narrowing the field to just a couple is going to be tough.  Good luck.

I would second this. You can't underestimate the power of a med. light action spinning rod for NED rigs and drop shots on those hot summer days...

Kistler KLX Drop Shot Finesse rod with a Straic FK (FK balances better on this rod)  and then a MH KLX Feel n Reel with a Tatula CT or Lew LFS (great combo for moving baits)

Could go super cheap and get two set ups. I've had good luck with KastKing (assassin and speed demon) Baitcasters.

:welcome:  basshawk.

EDIT:  I absolutely don't need any more rods or reels, but these KastKings look pretty good, and at their prices I may have to give them a shot anyway.  :teeth:
